I have also translated documents for the school district in which I teach. > Education: Minor in Spanish from University of Missouri - Columbia; December 1993 BS in Math, and BSED in Math Education from University of Missouri - Columbia; December 1993 Intense language study at Cuahnauhuac in Cuernavaca, Mexico (nivel: Intermedio Medio); June 1995 Instituto de Lengua y Cultura Costarricense - Alajuela, Costa Rica; June 1999 (progressed up 2 levels from Intermedio Medio to Advanzada in a period of 3 weeks) Masters of Arts: Curriculum and Instruction from University of Missouri - Kansas City; May 2005 1994 - 2007 Travel Experience: 3 times to Mexico, 4 times to Costa Rica, also have been to Spain, Morocco, Nepal... each trip at least 2 weeks; on three of these trips I took students with me and therefore translated a lot for them. > Additional Skills: Privately tutor Math and Spanish I teach English to Native Spanish speakers, and also have done many "intercambios" with native Spanish speakers to practice my own Spanish. Speaking Spanish is my passion in life. I would love to be able to use it in a way that can help others.
